چکیده

Agriculture plays an important role in the sustainable development of country. Use chemical fertilizers escalate certain components excess quantity thereby deteriorate productivity and leads to unpredicted outcome. This study makes effort reckon accumulation some selected heavy metals [Lead (Pb), Nickel (Ni) Cadmium(Cd)] related indices [bio concentration factor(BCF) translocation factor (TF)] from roots, leaves fruits pineapple plantations Ernakulam district. Contamination factor(CF), enrichment factor(EF) geo index (Igeo) disclose extent soil contamination cultivated regions Root shoot TF derived for Pb, Ni, Cd were 0.25, 0.733 0.6731. Ni root fruit was 0, 0.5 0.195 respectively. Values obtained BCF plant 0.2013,0.5758 0.3288. In showed values 0.0503, 0.4222 0.2214 by Cd. Pineapple Zero, 0.2879 0.0641 Enrichment areas comes under value 4.2, 3.7 2.8 Furthermore, 9.93, 8.26 6.23, The different pass on that degree pollution with respect Pb (6.621) very strong extremely contaminated, heavily contaminated (5.513) (4.15).

Genomic Survey, Characterization, and Expression Profile Analysis of the SBP Genes in Pineapple (Ananas comosus L.)

Gene expression is regulated by transcription factors, which play many significant developmental processes. SQUAMOSA promoter-binding proteins (SBP) perform a variety of regulatory functions in leaf, flower, and fruit development, plant architecture, and sporogenesis. 16 SBP genes were identified in pineapple and were divided into four groups on basis of phylogenetic analysis. Five paralogs in ...

Cloning, localization and expression analysis of vacuolar sugar transporters in the CAM plant Ananas comosus (pineapple).

In photosynthetic tissues of the CAM plant pineapple (Ananas comosus), storage of soluble sugars in the central vacuole during the daytime and their remobilization at night is required to provide carbon skeletons for nocturnal CO(2) fixation. However, soluble sugars produced photosynthetically must also be exported to support growth processes in heterotrophic tissues. To begin to address how va...

Management of Rotylenchulus reniformis in pineapple, Ananas comosus, by intercycle cover crops.

The effects of intercycle cover crops on Rotylenchulus reniformis population densities in pineapple were evaluated in one greenhouse and two field experiments. In the greenhouse, Crotalaria juncea, Brassica napus, and Tagetes erecta were planted for 3 months and then incorporated. These treatments were compared to weedy fallow with or without 1,3-dichloropropene (1,3-D) in three soils (Makawao ...

In vitro Environmental Factors Controlling Root Morphological Traits of Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr)

Abstract—Developing our knowledge of when pineapple roots grow can lead to improved water, fertilizer applications, and more precise culture management. This paper presents current understanding of morphological traits in pineapple roots, highlighting studies using incubation periods and various solid MS media treated with different sucrose concentrations and pH, which directly assess in vitro ...

Silencing of the ACC synthase gene ACACS2 causes delayed flowering in pineapple [Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.].

Flowering is a crucial developmental stage in the plant life cycle. A number of different factors, from environmental to chemical, can trigger flowering. In pineapple, and other bromeliads, it has been proposed that flowering is triggered by a small burst of ethylene production in the meristem in response to environmental cues. A 1-amino-cyclopropane-1-carboxylate synthase (ACC synthase) gene h...
